| A Message to Our Valued Customers |  | | First of all, we at Teeda.com would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of the customers who have done business with us over the years.
As many of our customers well know, the cost of raw silver has been increasingly rapidly. We last reviewed pricing for the majority of our products three years ago. Since then, the cost of raw silver has nearly tripled, from $5/ounce three years ago to $14/ounce today. This represents a 2.8x, or 180%, increase in the cost of the most important raw material for our products.
Current and Historical Silver Price Information
As a courtesy to our valued customers, we have done our best to hold pricing steady, and have generally absorbed these drastic cost increases ourselves over the past three years.
It seems, however, that the price of silver will remain at current levels on a sustained basis. As a result, we must regrettably increase the price of our merchandise to reflect current and foreseeable market conditions. Because we have not increased pricing on most of our lines for over three years, we sincerely appreciate your understanding if the new pricing for certain styles or product lines is materially different from the previous pricing.
Please be assured that we will constantly monitor the situation, and will of course reduce prices as quickly as possible if our manufacturing or raw material costs go down in the future.
